Walking and Nature Reserves

 

With tranquil paths and birdle ways following waterside routes, The Fens offer a range of walking opportunities to discover this fascinating landscape. A place to get away from it all. The Nene Washes between Dog-in-a-Doublet and Eldernell are managed by the RSPB and though not a formal visitor site offer good vantage points to watch the wildfowl and waders. Also nearby Lattersey Nature Reserve and Rotary Wood.

price includes bed, breakfast, evening meal and flask filled.

Packed lunches available at an additional cost of £3.00.

Any bookings for groups larger than 6 or more people a deposit of £10.00 per person is required to secure the booking.

Fishing in the Fens

 

The Fens have always been famous for the quality and variety of course fishing which attracts keen anglers both for leisure and match fishing. There are also many good quality enclosed waters such as Decoy Carp lakes and Kingsland Farm Lakes and East Delph Lakes, where day tickets are available.

For The Diver

 

The Dive-In Centre at Guildenburgh Waters, is one of the only national diving centres in the U.K. A full range of scuba and snorkelling instruction is on offer with a dive shop, food and licensed bar.
